Inline Centrifugal Fans

These grain fans are designed for more delicate drying jobs for crops like milo, wheat and rapeseed, all of which require special consideration and need to be handled more carefully than other types of grain. Aerating tall hoppers is another common challenge. The inline centrifugal fan is designed to handle both of these applications effectively. Suited for high-static pressures beyond the performance range of vane-axial fans, the inline centrifugal grain bin fan offers much more economic characteristics than regular centrifugal fans.

Sizes range from 1.5 HP to 15 HP with diameters between 18 and 28 inches. This grain bin fan will help maintain the integrity of your delicate products.

Vane-Axial Fans

For applications requiring high airflow at low static pressures, GSI offers vane-axial fans. Sizes range from 12-inch diameter working at 3 HP to more robust 42-inch, 40 HP units. The standard 12-inch, 15 HP fans feature a 3,450 RPM motor for increased performance and energy efficiency. Smooth, consistent airflow is achieved via close fan blade tip clearance and stator vanes designed to maximize air movement. All 24-inch and larger vane-axial grain fans include an inlet venturi that funnels air more efficiently into the fan.

Centrifugal Fans

GSI’s 1750 RPM centrifugal grain fans are built with a heavy galvanized steel, scroll-type housing and inverted inlet venturi. A non-overloading backward-inclined aerofoil wheel provides high airflow without putting too much unnecessary strain on the motor. These fans operate at reduced noise level and are designed to accommodate a variety of gas or electric heaters for use in high capacity drying bins.
